About Lagar de Cervera

Lagar de Cervera Albariño is a white wine from Rías Baixas produced by Lagar de Fornelos, part of the La Rioja Alta group. This wine is a single-variety made from the Albariño grape.

The grapes are meticulously selected from the vineyards of Viña Cervera in O Rosal.

The harvest is carried out manually, and the grape clusters are transported refrigerated to the winery in 20-kilogram capacity boxes.

The selected grapes, after being destemmed, undergo a gentle pressing at a temperature of 10°C.

Once settled, the must undergoes alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 15°C.

Fifty percent of Lagar de Cervera Albariño, from its particularly acidic 2014 vintage, has undergone malolactic fermentation in tanks.

After the first racking, Lagar de Cervera Albariño undergoes periodic bâtonnage.

The La Rioja Alta group sought the ideal vineyards to produce the finest white wine and found them in the heart of Rías Baixas.

The project began in 1988, establishing the largest vineyard of the Albariño variety in the region. Twenty-five years later, Lagar de Cervera remains a benchmark.

Lagar de Cervera 2019 is an aromatic white wine featuring hints of citrus, white fruit, and stone fruit. On the palate, it is fresh, expansive, and well-structured. The finish is flavorful, accompanied by a lingering citrus aftertaste.

2014 Fresh and balances. Potent, balances, unctuous. The wine is complex and a pleasant retro nasal.

A light and bright yellow, greenish hues.

High aromatic intensity, highlighting tropical and white fruit.
2013 In the mouth this white wine is broad, glyceric and rich with herbal and floral notes, and a great citric acidity which makes this wine very lively. Long finish with medium persistence and some nice bitter notes at the end.

Clean aroma with powerful varietal aromas. Nuances of white flowers, ripe white stone fruit, citrus fruit and reminiscences of tropical fruit. Fragrant and seductive.
