About Lindeiros

The grandeur of certain wines begins its journey long before reaching the winery. For Lindeiro, it all starts at Troviscoso, a small estate planted in 1987 in Cambados, where granite, the proximity of the Atlantic, and sea breezes dictate the rhythm of an albariño that finds its strongest argument in the landscape.
 
From this vineyard of merely 3.8 hectares, located in one of the historic areas of the Rías Baixas, emerges Lindeiro, a single-varietal crafted exclusively with albariño. The vines, trained in the traditional Galician pergola system, thrive on purely granitic soils and benefit from a privileged orientation towards the sea. The constant influence of Atlantic breezes encourages a leisurely ripening of the grape and helps preserve the freshness and tension that distinguish the great whites of Cambados.
 
Before becoming a single wine, Lindeiro follows three distinct paths. One part ferments in stainless steel, another in concrete egg, and another in French oak barrels. Only after a year of ageing on lees and another year of resting in the bottle do these three voices unite to faithfully express the landscape from which they originate. 
 
Lindeiro demonstrates that a great albariño speaks not only of a variety but also of the place it hails from and the time devoted to it. If you seek to discover the most precise and elegant side of Cambados, here is a bottle that deserves to be uncorked.
