About Lalomba Rosé

Lalomba Rosé is a rosé wine mainly from Grenache Tinta and with a little Viura prepared by Bodegas Ramón Bilbao in the D.O.Ca Rioja.

Bodegas Ramón Bilbao was founded in 1924 and currently belongs to Diego Zamora SA. The winery is located in the town of Haro, La Rioja, a famous location in the wine world for being the place with the highest concentration of century-old wineries in the world, and for being where some of the most internationally prestigious wines are produced.

Lalomba Rosé is harvested manually using 12 kg boxes. The grapes are selected and pressed in an inert and cold atmosphere to avoid oxidation of the must. Next, the must is disgorged to remove impurities, and fermented in concrete tanks. Lastly the wine is aged on lees for 4 months so that these can add more volume and complexity.

Lalomba Rosé receives the name of the same estate from which the grapes this wine is obtained from come. It is a wine carefully made to be clean, fresh, floral and fruity.

2023
Lalomba Rosé 2023 dazzles with subtle floral aromas and a delicate palette of fresh red fruits, such as roses and sour cherries. On the palate, it offers a light and juicy entry, where floral and fruit notes intertwine harmoniously with refreshing citrus nuances. The finish is smooth and creamy, leaving a lingering and pleasant sensation.
 
2016 Lalomba Rosé 2016 is a wine with complex aromas of medium intensity. The notes of fresh red fruit, stone fruit and citrus stand out. It also has floral and herbaceous touches. On the palate its acidity and volume are balanced. In the retronasal olfaction the aromas perceived in the nose reappear.
