Las Uvas de la Ira Vino del Pueblo 2023 is a red wine exhibiting a paler hue compared to its previous vintage, accompanied by delicate aromas of fresh red fruits, pomegranate, and a subtle herbal note reminiscent of fig leaves. On the palate, it reveals a light and refined texture, with exquisitely fine tannins and an almost ethereal sensation. An elegant, balanced wine brimming with subtlety.

About Las Uvas de la Ira Vino del Pueblo

Las Uvas de la Ira Vino del Pueblo is a red wine from D.O. Méntrida produced by Daniel Landi winery.
Daniel Gómez Jiménez Landi started out in his family winery, Jiménez Landi winery, before launching a project to make wines in his own winery. Additionally, participants from the Comando G project, produce great wines from old vines of the recuperated Grenache variety.
It is Daniel Landi who is in love with this variety, the old vines and the viticulture with little intervention.
Las Uvas de la Ira Vino del Pueblo is a single variety Grenache red wine.
The grapes are produced from three small plots (just over two hectares in total) of old vines, more than 60 years old, they are planted at an altitude of 800-900 metres above sea level and almost vertical, with a 50% gradient.
Some of the vines were in a poor condition when they were recovered by Daniel Landi, vineyards surrounded by hills with a lot of vegetation and aromatic plants. The soils are slate soils.
They have a humid Mediterranean climate and it is quite warm.
The grapes are fermented in French oak vats with local yeast from their own vineyards.
Las Uvas de la Ira Vino del Pueblo undergoes an aging in 2000 to 3000 litre French oak barrels; it ages for 10 months.
It is bottled without filtration nor stabilisation.

Las Uvas de la Ira Vino del Pueblo 2020 is a succulent red wine redolent with wild berry aromas, floral and herbaceous undertones, and hints of spices. On the palate, it is light-bodied, crisp, and well-balanced. This wine offers granular tannins, invigorating acidity, and a delightful finish.
2019

Las Uvas de la Ira Vino del Pueblo 2019 is an effervescent, invigorating, and succulent wine. The bouquet reveals scents of red berries, herbaceous undertones, and hints of damp stone. On the palate, it offers an effortless drinkability, with pronounced acidity and a delightfully smooth texture.
2016 Las uvas de la ira 2016 is a juicy wine with fresh fruit aromas, spicy notes of pepper and mineral touches. On the palate it is light, with good acidity and very noble tannins. It reveals plenty of red fruit and is very easy to drink.
2013 On the palate there is a lot of fruit with a good acidity and elegant tannins.

Cherry red colour with little intensity.

On the nose we encounter red and black fruit, spices, balsamic and minerality supported by slate.
2012 Elegant with clean, pleasant and clear attack. Delicate on the palate with lots of fruity touches. Long finish.

A pale cherry red colour with pink reflections.

Lavish and very aromatic- Notes of red fruit, dark cherries, blackberries and fresh strawberries.
