Le Battistelle Montesei Soave Classico 2025 is a white wine that astonishes with its complexity and that quintessentially elegant and gastronomic Italian character. On the nose, it combines herbal notes of sage with a slightly spicy touch reminiscent of fresh radish, alongside ripe stone fruit evoking apricot and peach. On the palate, it offers a medium body, vibrant acidity that keeps it lively, and an almost chewable texture with depth. The finish, polished and persistent, leaves an almond-like echo and subtle lees notes, akin to a luminous after-dinner on a terrace in northern Italy.

About Le Battistelle Montesei Soave Classico

Le Battistelle Montesei Soave Classico is a white wine aged on lees made by Le Battistelle with the Garganega variety in the DOC Soave, in Veneto (Italy). 
 
Azienda Agricola Le Battistelle was set up by Gelmino and Cristina Dal Bosco in 2002 when they decided to stop selling their grapes to the local cooperative and began to make their own wines. Located in the city of Brognoligo, in the heart of the Soave Classico production area, in the province of Verona, the Le Battistelle family has great respect for the winemaking tradition and produces typical and unique local wines. 
 
Le Battistelle Montesei Soave Classico comes from several old vineyards. These vines are aged between 70 and 90 years old and planted on very steep slopes with volcanic soils that are rich in clay and silt. They are cultivated using environmentally friendly agriculture and the harvest is carried out entirely by hand due to the extreme slopes.
 
Once the Le Battistelle Montesei Soave Classico grapes reach the winery, they are destemmed and pressed and the resulting must is vinified in stainless steel for 20 days. Then the wine spends 6-8 months on its fine lees. Throughout this time, batonnage takes place every two days.  
 
Made from a unique vineyard located on extremely steep slopes, Le Battistelle Montesei Soave Classico is an artisan experience that magically combines mineral details and refreshing energy.
