About Legaris Verdejo

Legaris Verdejo is a white wine from the DO. Rueda crafted by the winery Legaris.

The winery boasts 100 hectares of vineyards sprawling across two estates located in the municipalities of Curiel de Duero (Valladolid) and San Martín de Rubiales (Burgos).

Legaris Verdejo is predominantly made from Verdejo grapes, with a small percentage of Sauvignon Blanc grapes added. The grapes are sourced from vineyards situated at altitudes of 700 to 800 meters, on brown, stony soils with excellent drainage and aeration.

Its production begins with a skin maceration in the press for 2-4 hours followed by pressing. The must is then clarified by flotation for an alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 14°C with selected yeasts. Finally, the wine undergoes racking and remains with its fine lees in suspension for approximately 2 months.

2024

Legaris Verdejo 2024 is a white wine that will astonish you with its freshness and smoothness. As you bring it to your nose, intense aromas of green apple and pear unfold, complemented by a citrus hint of lemon. On the palate, these sensations become more pronounced, accompanied by an elegant floral note. Its slight final bitterness, characteristic of the Verdejo variety, provides a unique and memorable finish. A wine that combines essentiality and distinction.

2022 Legaris Verdejo 2022 is a very expressive white wine with a concentration of aromas reminiscent of white fruits on the nose accompanied by citrus notes tinged with a touch of fennel that is characteristic of the variety. The palate is full-bodied and silky. A white wine with elegant floral and fruity expression and very varietal.
2021

Legaris Verdejo 2021 is an aromatic white wine with an intense nose of white fruits and citrus over a herbaceous background. On the palate it is broad, fresh and flavoursome. A pleasant and easy to drink wine with the bitter finish that is so characteristic of Verdejo.
2020

Legaris Verdejo 2020 is a crisp white wine. The bouquet reveals scents of lime, herbal notes, lemon, and apple. It possesses a light to medium body with a pronounced acidity. It is succinct and well-defined.
2014 Good entry, fresh and enveloping. Presence of citrus with good acidity. Long and slightly bitter aftertaste.

Dark yellow straw colour with green hues.

Intensely aromatic. Presence of ripe white fruit with floral and herbaceous notes. Light balsamic touches.
2013 In the mouth it shows a great body and persistence, with a bitter finish characteristic of the Verdejo variety.

Subdued straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. Clean and bright.

Very intense wine in the nose, with floral notes and aromas of white fruits ans slight nuances of fennel.
