Celler del Roure Les Prunes is a rosé wine crafted from the indigenous mandó variety by Celler del Roure in the D.O. Valencia.

Celler del Roure is a family-owned winery established in 1996 by Pablo Calatayud in the town of Moixent (Valencia). Following the success of its two flagship wines, Maduresa and Les Alcusses, the winery introduces a new venture named Les Filles d'Amàlia, showcasing an until now lesser-known indigenous variety: mandó.

Celler del Roure Les Prunes marks the debut of this innovative project. It is a rosé wine made from mandó grapes, a highly productive variety that is managed through specific viticultural practices. The grapes are harvested slightly before reaching full ripeness, boasting significant alcoholic potential.

Celler del Roure Les Prunes is produced akin to a white wine. The harvest undergoes gentle pressing, and the free-run juice has minimal skin contact, imparting a delicate pink hue. It ferments with native yeasts and completes the process on its own lees in clay amphorae for six months.
