About Llopart Imperial Panoràmic Reserva Brut

Cultivating the grapevine since 1385 and exclusively dedicated to winemaking since the 18th century, Llopart is an essential name in the world of prestigious and high-quality sparkling wines. This is evidenced by the distinctive emblem that marks the brand with an engraving of the original label from the year 1887. Under the motto Ex Vite Vita, 'From the vine comes life', this winery, deeply rooted in the land of Penedès, located in Subirats (Barcelona) and a member of the esteemed collective brand Corpinnat, crafts sparkling wines with a unique identity that have become true best-sellers.

Their Llopart Imperial Panoràmic Reserva Brut, formerly known as Llopart Imperial, is a long-aged sparkling wine that seeks to convey the rich heritage of one of the oldest winemaking houses in Penedès. This is reflected on the label, which features a panoramic view of the Llopart de Costa farmhouse and the surrounding mountains. For the production of this Corpinnat, the traditional varieties xarel·lo, macabeo, and parellada are organically grown. The vinification process takes place in stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts, followed by a blend with 15% of reserve base wine. Subsequently, a second fermentation in the bottle is carried out using the traditional method, and it then ages for a minimum of 42 months before disgorgement and the addition of the expedition liqueur.

Llopart Imperial Panoràmic Reserva Brut 2016 is a dry sparkling wine (6 g/L of sugar). Olfactorily, it is highly complex, exuding aged nuances with hints of toasted bread, honey, and nuts. On the palate, it is expansive and well-structured, creamy, with a harmonious balance between sweetness and acidity. It boasts an exceptionally fine mousse. The finish is enduring.
