About Lynus Año de Gracia

Lynus Año de Gracia is a wine from a single consignment of 924 bottles that reflects the greatest expression of the terroir that the family company Lynus Viñedos y Bodegas has in the Ribera de Duero.

This young family winery located in what is known as the "Golden Mile" of the Ribera de Duero Denomination of Origin, owes its name to Greek mythology. The son of Apollo and Calliope, Lynus is known as the inventor of melody and rhythm. The same particular features aimed for in this exclusive wine.

As its name indicates, Lynus Año de Gracia can only be produced in those years when the harvest has been exceptional. A strong, tinted and fruity grape that is picked from the plant in the late season and, once in the winery, is selected berry by berry on the selection table.

For its production, Lynus Año de Gracia undergoes a long maceration, and ages and refines over 13 months in three extra fine grain and medium toasted French oak barrels.

Lynus Año de Gracia is an elegant and complex wine that can only be enjoyed in vintages in which the grape has enjoyed unique conditions.
2014 Lynus Año de Gracia 2014 is a powerful wine on the nose, with notes of prunes, black pepper and toasted elements. On the palate it is a full and complex wine with a high concentration of fine and rounded tannins and a rich aftertaste.
