About Oxer Marko Gure Arbasoak

Marko Gure Arbasoak is a white wine from the D.O. Bizkaiko Txakolina by Oxer Basteigieta in Kortezubi, Biscay.

Oxer Belastegi is himself from Kortezubi and began producing Chacolí in the family wineries. They currently work with 5 hectares of vineyards, divided across 8 different plots, all of which are cultivated and worked organically. The planted varieties are the native Hondarribi Zuri, Hondarribi Zuri Zerratie (Petit Corbou), y Iztiriota ttipia (Petit Manseng). The harvest is carried out manually.

Marko Gure Arbasoak is produced using the oldest vineyards. The difference between this wine and Marko, is that this wine ferments in (500litre) barrels where it then ages for 3 months.

Marko Gure Arbasoak is not a regular Chacolí, this is a great white wine with keeping potential. This wine offers a great complexity, from a blend of the soils, grapes and vinification. 

2021 Marko Gure Arbasoak 2021 is an exquisite white wine that on the nose presents a bouquet evocative of ripe pears and apples, complemented by delicate floral undertones. On the palate, it glides with a certain creaminess while maintaining its vivacity. This white wine boasts a delightful mineral nuance, a hint of smokiness, and a protracted, sophisticated finish.
