Martín Códax Gallaecia is a white wine from D.O. Rías Baixas produced by Martín Códax.

The winery took the name of a famous troubadour from Galicia, whose songs are some of the oldest in the entire Galician-Portuguese language.

This wine is a single variety Albariño (100%) made from overripe grapes with a high botrytis. As for the production, the alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel deposits and, following that, malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel deposits. Martín Códax Gallaecia is a white wine from D.O. Rías Baixas produced by Martín Códax.
This white wine is only produced in the years when there are optimum conditions to produce it.

2020

2018 is a robust and sophisticated white wine that, upon olfaction, unveils scents reminiscent of orange marmalade, complemented by nuances of dried fruits such as apricots, raisins, or figs, interwoven with hints of propolis, lavender, or honey. Upon the palate, it presents a smooth and dry onset, where a burst of all the fragrances perceived olfactorily occurs. This white wine is exceptionally broad and velvety, boasting a superb acidity that suggests an impressive potential for aging.
2011 On the palate it is enveloping and, with a noticeable acidity, it can leave a persistent aftertaste

A ripe lemon yellow in colour of a  high robe.

Intensely aromatic with fruity notes of dried apricot, raisins and figs. Reminiscences of honey, marmalade and a background of botrytis.
2007 Elegant wine from the Rias Baixas. Wide, sweet and live attack. Unctuous mid palate with more notes of citrus than the nose. Retronasal of quince and tropical fruit aromas. Very persistent finish with pleasant sensations.
