About Baudili Rosat

In evolution lies the pleasure. It cannot be otherwise. For doing the same thing repeatedly, maintaining the same opinion, or thinking in the same way perpetually will ultimately lead to stagnation. In wine—as in life—curiosity and the ability to change are what keep everything vibrant.

Such is the case with Ramon Jané, who, although he has devoted his entire life to the world of wine—a passion that utterly captivates him—has undergone an evolution both natural and coherent. His beginnings trace back to a project shared with his colleague and friend Toni Carbó, with whom he founded Mas Candí. Over the years, they have shared more than just vineyards: a passion for tasting, learning, and discovering.

They have participated in blind tasting competitions, travelled to explore wine regions, and are regulars at industry fairs. However, there was a pivotal moment: a trip to the La Dive Bouteille fair in France. There, they discovered the realm of natural wine… and have not wanted to leave it since.

From that moment, their most personal project was born: Ramon Jané Viticultor, where he can explore an even more liberated and direct approach to winemaking.

Today, from Mas Candí, he produces wines under the Penedès and Corpinnat appellations, while under Ramon Jané Viticultor, natural wines emerge without designation of origin, guided solely by the vineyard and intuition.

From this evolution, he presents Baudili Rosat, a rosé that delivers on all its promises. Fresh, vibrant, and dangerously easy to drink.

Born from the combination of two profoundly Mediterranean varieties: xarel·lo and sumoll, it originates from vineyards aged 10 to 25 years on clay-limestone soils. It is cultivated organically, with the harvest carried out manually, taking special care of the grapes. After harvest, the grapes are cooled to 3-4°C to preserve their aromatic freshness. Then, a direct pressing is performed with a brief maceration of about 4 hours, and alcoholic fermentation begins spontaneously with native yeasts.

The wine remains for 6 months in stainless steel tanks with its fine lees, adding texture and complexity without losing freshness. Finally, it is bottled unfiltered, respecting its natural character as much as possible.

Baudili Rosat is presented as a rosé full of life, juicy, saline, and incredibly drinkable. One of those wines that demonstrates that evolving—when done sensibly—is always worthwhile.
