Mascorrubí Ancestral Sumoll Rosat 2023 is a sparkling wine of a delicate pale salmon hue with pinkish reflections, releasing fine bubbles that dance in the glass like a whisper of joy. On the nose, it unveils a vibrant bouquet of red fruits and citrus, wrapped in a balsamic embrace reminiscent of the freshness of the Mediterranean undergrowth, where rosemary and thyme scent the air. About Mascorrubí Ancestral Sumoll Rosat

In the Pla de Manlleu (Tarragona, Spain), at an altitude exceeding 500 metres, Heretat Mascorrubí preserves a viticultural heritage dating back to the 12th century when the Knights Templar established their farmhouse. This estate, steeped in history and reverence for nature, is revitalised today through the project of Ernest Pérez-Mas, who rekindled the joyful memories of his childhood at his grandparents' farmhouse by returning to his roots to revive indigenous varieties and craft wines with soul and authenticity.
 
Mascorrubí Ancestral Sumoll Rosat pays homage to tradition and biodiversity, crafted with a perfect balance between white sumoll and red sumoll, native yet occasionally nearly forgotten varieties. The manual harvest in organic vineyards with clay-limestone soil and cold fermentation in stainless steel, along with an eight-hour maceration at 15°C, result in a unique sparkling rosé. The bottling through the Ancestral Method exclusively utilises the grape's natural sugars, achieving a pure and vibrant expression of this singular terroir.
