Monje Amestoy Reserva is a red wine from the D.O. La Rioja made by the Luberri winery. It is a single-variety Tempranillo. 

Monje Amestoy Reserva is an example of a classic wine from Rioja, and a representative of the region's modernity at the same time. A combination of ten. The incarnation of the complexity of Rioja wines. 

This wine is aged for 16 months in barrels. For this process, they use barrels up to six years old, half of which are French, and the other half American. Lastly, and before being commercialised, Monje Amestoy Reserva rests for 20 months in the bottle.

Monje Amestoy Reserva 2016 is an exquisite red wine, perfect for pairing with roasted meats and cheeses. This cherry-ruby colored wine with tile-toned edges indicative of its aging process, boasts a complex bouquet featuring vanilla, spices, and dark fruits such as blueberries and blackberries. On the palate, it offers a well-structured body with smooth, rounded tannins that ensure a silky and mellow mouthfeel. The finish is delightfully spicy. 
2014 Monje Amestoy Reserva 2014 is a concentrated, expressive and elegant red wine. This vintage displays greater volume on the palate and a more mature nose, with sweet red fruit and with light spicy notes.
