About Montenovo

New vintage of this fantastic white wine from Valdeorras made of 100% Godello grapes from young vineyards around 15 years old.
Montonovo is a white wine produced by means of a manual grape harvest, selected in the winery and in its own vineyard. The wine-making is conducted separately depending on the estates from which they come. After a brief pecualiar maceration, the fermentation with indigenous yeasts is carried out. Clarification by means of mineral agents. Cold stabilization and soft depth filtering.
Montonovo has an excellent value (and pleasure) for money.

2023

Montenovo 2023 unveils itself as a vibrant and zesty white wine. Upon nosing, one can discern the delicate scents of lemon and grapefruit, interwoven with hints of white blossoms and a nuance of minerality reminiscent of river stones. On the palate, its playful acidity twirls with a light texture, delivering a crisp and defined finish that beckons one to indulge in yet another sip. It is the quintessential choice for those in pursuit of a pure and invigorating expression of the white grape.
2012 It is fresh and cheerful at the attack. Its mid palate is marked by its unctuous texture and its great acidity, which makes it deep and crispy. A slightly oily, medium-bodied wine.  Nice finish with grassy notes, a fruity aftertaste and floral aromas at retro-olfaction.

Straw yellow colour with greenish reflections and steely edges. Clean and very bright.

It shows a medium-intensity nose clearly dominated by the notes of ripe white stone fruits and citric nuances. It is rounded out by its nice notes of white flowers, its light grassy hints and its mineral nuances.
2011 Very fresh, elegant, intense and bulky wine with a long, very unctuous, oily and full-bodied mid palate, in which the notes felt on the nose are noticed again with a sweety touch and a more expressive minerality. Excellent and balanced acidity and a good finish with fruit and grassy sensations.  A light and easy-drinking wine to enjoy every moment.

Bright and very clean straw yellow colour with thin greenish reflections. Dense and glyceric tears.

Elegant and fresh aromatic intensity. Its intense notes of white fruit and citrus nuanced by some expressive and fresh herbal notes are released on a subtle and embracing mineral background.
2010 Very intense wine with a good volume. Creamy and pleasant mid palate, with a sharp acidity. Good balance. Fresh and easy drinking wine.
