Nebro 2021 boasts an alluring deep cherry red hue with garnet reflections. On the nose, it offers a powerful burst of ripe fruits accompanied by mineral notes, a hint of toffee, and subtle nuances of ageing. On the palate, it surprises with a fine entry and a velvety texture that adds volume. Its robust structure is complemented by fruity aromas intermingling with liquorice and coffee, providing a long and persistent finish. A limited production of 1,438 bottles.

About Finca Villacreces Nebro

Nebro is a very special red wine. Produced by Finca Villacreces, a winery located in the middle of Milla de Oro, the heart of Ribera del Duero, this wine comes from a sole vineyard of Tempranillo vines planted at the beginning of the 20th century, in 1917.
It is a privileged vineyard, located in the area of Olmedillo (in the region of Burgos), which is determined by sandy and rocky soils which cause a limited production.

Nebro is only produced when extraordinary high-quality vintages are obtained, thus assuring excellent results. Limited production of 2,000 bottles approximately.
A double selection of the grapes is conducted. Firstly, there is a manual selection of the bunches and later, a selection of the grapes using a ventilation system.
The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel deposits whereas the malolactic fermentation takes place in new French oak barrels. Subsequently, it undergoes 16 months of aging in a new fine-grain French oak barrel (Darnajou) and 6 months in a French oak foudre (Taransaud). We recommend decanting it at least one hour before serving.

2019

Finca Villacreces Nebro 2019 is a red wine with exquisite aromatic power, where we find an explosion of ripe black fruits accompanied by mineral nuances, aromas reminiscent of toffee caramel, and subtle spicy touches. On the palate, it unfolds its elegance through velvety tannins that envelop its fruity passage, where notes of licorice and toasty flavors also emerge. A creamy red wine with a long and persistent finish, eternal and unforgettable.
2016

Nebro 2016 is a powerful and concentrated red wine. On the nose there are spicy notes, black fruit, graphite and liquorice. The palate is structured, full-bodied and tannic, with chewy tannins and flavours of blackberries, blueberries and nuts. There is hazelnut on the finish. Long
2008 In the palate, we find a round, unctuous and bulky Spanish wine, with ripe tannins and a good acidity. Long and very persistent finish.

Intense cherry colour with maroon edges. Clean and bright wine with a medium-high robe. Abundant tears.

Clean, high-intensity nasal aromas with a great varietal expression full of ripe fruit notes. It provides a wide range of spicy notes, refined toasted aromas and floral and mineral nuances. Complex, concentrated and pleasant set.
