Neso Syrah 2022 extends an invitation to savour an intriguing and captivating wine. Its cherry-red hue with violet tinges hints at the vibrancy of this vintage. On the nose, an intoxicating blend of red fruits such as cherries and raspberries unfolds, alongside black fruits like blackberries, all harmonised with a touch of spices and a subtle balsamic undertone. On the palate, it presents as broad and rounded, with fine tannins that balance its acidity, culminating in a long and elegant finish. About Neso Syrah

Myths are an inexhaustible source of inspiration and a mirror of our culture, intertwining history, emotion, and creativity. It is precisely this energy that has inspired Bodegas Tesalia to bring their Serie Mito to life, a project aimed at capturing the essence of their vineyards and expressing the unique personality of each plot in their wines.

The story of Tesalia began over fifteen years ago, when the Goldings, an English couple, arrived in Arcos de la Frontera, the first 'pueblo blanco' of the Cádiz mountain range (Spain), and fell in love with its landscape and viticultural potential. Since then, their goal has been to reflect the singularity of the land and the dedication of their efforts in every bottle. The Serie Mito is born from this philosophy, merging the inspiration of classical legends with viticultural excellence. The first wine of the collection, Neso, draws its name from the centaur, evoking strength, character, and a connection with nature, values that are reflected in every sip.

Neso Syrah is a wine born under the influence of the levante winds in Arcos de la Frontera, the result of selecting the finest barrels from plot No. 4. The vineyards, situated on steep northeast-facing slopes, allow the syrah to express its utmost intensity and elegance. The harvest is carried out by hand during the night, preserving the freshness of the fruit. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in French oak vats, while ageing in 225-litre barrels imparts complexity, structure, and balance, without overshadowing the varietal expression.

Neso is a syrah that combines intensity, elegance, and character. The winery's first single-varietal invites us to discover how a myth can inspire a wine and how each bottle can tell its own story.
