Among his freshest initiatives is Nat Cool, a groundbreaking collective concept that brings together like-minded producers to create light, vibrant, and easy-to-drink wines... and even easier to share. Now, Niepoort takes it a step further with a cross-border collaboration: Nat Cool Alt de les Fonts, alongside Javi Revert and Cooperativa La Viña, in Valencia (Spain).

The key, as Revert says, lies in time. That invisible factor that governs everything: from the age of the vines to the events that have shaped the landscape. Time influences the soil, the climate, the orientation, the viticulture... and, of course, humanity itself.

Niepoort Nat Cool Alt de les Fonts is born from mountain vineyards, cultivated on poor, calcareous soils, with the forcallà, monastrell, and arcos varieties, genuine local treasures. Each plot is vinified separately, with fermentation and resting in concrete tanks, maximally respecting the expression of the place.
