About Palomo Cojo

Palomo Cojo is a white wine from Rueda produced by the Unesdi winery.

Palomo Cojo is 100% made from Verdejo. The grapes come from selected vineyards planted on gravelly and stony soil.

For the preparation of this white wine a traditional winemaking is carried out. The stemmed grapes are fermented in stainless steel.

Palomo Cojo is a very nice, cool and casual white wine.

2023

Palomo Cojo 2023 is a young and light white wine, with an intense nose that unveils fresh and clean aromas. You will find notes of green apple and pear, accompanied by a hint of vegetal freshness. On the palate, this verdejo is fruity, flavourful, and with a smooth texture. The finish is slightly bitter, typical of the variety, which gives it a well-defined and balanced profile.                      
2022

Palomo Cojo 2022 is unveiled as a youthful and vibrant white wine, perfect for those in pursuit of lightness and a fruity palate. On the nose, it unfurls a spectrum of scents reminiscent of succulent pears and crisp green apples, augmented by a hint of fresh herbs. Upon tasting, its velvety texture and a touch of glycerine enrobe the palate, as the fruit-driven notes linger delightfully. A wine defined by its invitation to savor its simplicity and purity.
2014 Very cool and pleasant. Step is tasty with hints of citrus and vegetable sensations. Well balanced acidity.

Yellow with golden hues, clean and bright.

Good aromatic intensity. Presence of citrus with herbaceous and vegetal notes. Very fresh balsamic background.
2013 Such as in the nose, in the palate, this white wine is honest, clean and very fresh. A wine with a good attack, a light mid palate and a citric acidity. Finish with typical light and very nice bitter notes.

Clean and sharp nasal aromas with a good intensity. Its fresh aromas of white fruit are released along with nice herbal and vegetal notes, floral notes and subtle citric touches.

2011 Good, intense and marked attack. A wine with a good and unctuous mid palate with a marked varietal character and very tasty and intense notes of fruit. A balanced wine with a good and lively acidity that makes it very fresh. Good and pleasant finish with the nice and characteristic bitter nuances provided by the Verdejo and a good persistence.  Another wine from Rueda with a hardly found intensity and harmony.

Attractive pale yellow colour, almost crystalline, with subtle greenish reflections. Slightly glyceric.

Very marked aromas, with a strong varietal character. A explosion of white fruit, stone fruit and tropical notes is displayed along with very refreshing citrus aromas and clean herbal hints on an intense floral background. Very harmonious.
