About Pandemonium Blanco De Blancas

If there is one thing that has historically characterised the world of wine, it is its detachment from the general public. Traditionally regarded as a ritual reserved for restaurants or connoisseurs, wine has remained distant for the younger generations, who perceive it more as an elitist symbol than an enjoyable experience. However, there are initiatives striving to change this perception, and Vintae is one of them.

Born from the passion for wine of José Miguel Arrambarri Terrero, a businessman from Rioja, and his sons Richi and José Miguel, Vintae has a clear objective: to demonstrate that wine is not solely for restaurant tables, but to be lived and relished at any time. The winery produces wines in 14 denominations of origin across Spain, proving that innovation and tradition can go hand in hand.

Now, Vintae aims to revolutionise the world of sparkling wine in a land of reds with its new collection Pandemonium. This collection, without denomination of origin, emerges from the vineyards located in Alto Najerilla, near San Millán, in mountain vineyards where the roots of the founders of Vintae are found.

Pandemonium Blanco de Blancas comes from slopes situated between 700 and 900 metres above sea level, in a marginal area for vine cultivation, surrounded by oak forests. Sustainable farming is practised here, respecting the environment and the terroir, on clay-ferrous soils under a cold continental climate with Atlantic influence. The harvesting of the viura is done manually when the grape reaches 10.5 degrees, and the wine is crafted following the traditional méthode champenoise. After 40 months of ageing on lees, the tirage and disgorgement are carried out with a dosage of five grams per litre, achieving a complex and elegant sparkling wine.
