About Parvus Chardonnay

Parvus Chardonnay is a white wine from the appellation of origin Alella produced by the winery Art Laietà, in the town of Tiana (Barcelona).

Parvus Chardonnay is 100% produced from the varietal Chardonnay. The grapes originate from vineyards planted in sauló soils, this a typo of sandy soil.

The vineyards are cultivated by ecological agrarian principles.

For its production, the grapes are macerated with their skins to provide a better aromatic extraction. There is a light pressing, which creates the free run juice, which is then fermented in French oak barrels from Allier at a low temperature.
In the same barrel, Parvus Chardonnay is aged for 3 months.

2020

Parvus Chardonnay 2020 is an aromatic white wine. Olfactorily, it exhibits a multifaceted complexity, with hints of tropical fruit (banana, mango, papaya, peach) and white blossom. On the palate, it is vivacious and fruit-forward, with a luscious, oily texture. 
2015 Velvety and rich on the palate, it exhibits a harmonious balance and culminates in a delightfully extensive finish.

Displays a pristine golden yellow hue with a radiant appearance.

Fruit-forward notes interwoven with nuances of ageing. Hints of coconut and vanilla linger.
2014 Unctuous and creamy with fruity and floral sensations. Very good acidity levels. Long and persistent finish.

Pale yellow with golden reflections.

Medium intensity with white fruit aromas combines with citric, floral and vanilla notes.
2013 Tasty, fresh, dry and light wine with an rich, unctuous texture. Fruity notes give way to the floral aromas and the creamy wooden notes. Good acidity and a long finish. A soft and elegant Chardonnay.

Clean and bright pale yellow colour.

Good intensity. Perfect balance between tropical fruit aromas (along with touches of stone and citrus fruit) and the aromas of vanilla and coconut provided by its ageing in oak. Light herbal background.
2012 This wine shows good, wide and bulky attack and an unctuous and dry palate, with intense floral and fruity notes. A very refreshing acidity, well-defined, adding depth. Long finish with good persistence. A subtle white wine, with a brief but not overwhelming ageing.

Pale straw-yellow colour with light gold reflections. Clean and bright. Very fine, slow-falling tears on the glass.

Medium-intensity nose, clean and very enjoyable. Notes of tropical fruit, mango, papaya, pineapple dominate over light aromas of its ageing, sweet spices and hints of patisserie. Nice nuances of aromatic herbs and interesting balsamic notes in the background.
