About Philippe Pacalet Bulles Par PP

Philippe Pacalet Bulles Par PP is a single-variety Pinot Blanc sparkling wine made by Philippe Pacalet as Vin de France in Burgundy, France.

Philippe Pacalet is a renowned, pioneer of natural winemaking in France. After years of experience making still wines, he made his first sparkling wine Philippe Pacalet Bulles Par PP in 2017, using the same winemaking methods he usually uses. The clusters are pressed whole and undergo their first alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts in Burgundy oak barrels for four months and without adding SO2.

The second fermentation takes place in the February after the harvest and aging continues in the winery following the traditional method of aging on lees and in the bottle.

Philippe Pacalet Bulles Par PP is Philippe Pacalet’s successful foray in the production of sparkling wines, where he continues to show his commitment to environmentally friendly work, with minimal intervention and extraordinary quality.

 

2019

Philippe Pacalet Bulles Par PP 2019 is a sparkling wine that on the nose exhibits fruity aromas. On the palate, it is vibrant and full-bodied, with mineral undertones and iodine nuances.
2018 Philippe Pacalet Bulles Par PP 2018 is an extra brut sparkling wine with fruity and complex aromas of candied lemon and roasted apples on the nose, accompanied by mineral and smoky notes. On the palate the fruit is reaffirmed and it reveals a fine, elegant and long-lasting bubble.
