Pierre Gerbais Grains de Celles Extra Brut is a champagne made with the Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir varieties by the Pierre Gerbais winery in Champagne, France.

 

The grapes used to make the Pierre Gerbais Grains de Celles Extra Brut come from the best plots in Celles sur Ource, a town in the Côte des Bars, in the Aube region. This blanc de noirs ferments in stainless steel tanks and has a dosage of 4 grams of sugar per litre.

 

The Maison Pierre Gerbais has been operating for 8 generations, but it was when Pierre Gerbais took over the Maison in 1996 that they began using biological and natural methods in the vineyard and the winery.

 

Maison Pierre Gerbais now has 14 hectares of land and they are also champions of rescuing and using forgotten grapes like the Pinot Blanc Vrai.

In short, these are true artisan producers whose respect for nature and passion for their land results in thrilling sparkling wines.
