About Rioja Vega Edición Limitada

Rioja Vega Limited Editionis a red wine from the Rioja D.O. produced by the Rioja Vega winery.
This winery is located in the municipality of Viana (Navarre), in the westernmost part of the D.O., known as Rioja Baja.

Rioja Vega Limited Edition is made from the Tempranillo variety (95%) and a small percentage of theGraciano variety (5%).
The grapes come from vineyards planted on clay-calcareous soils that are poor in organic matter and mineral salts, with abundant pebbles, remains of alluvium and gravels that provide a very good drainage and water retention for the vine.

For its production, after a traditional winemaking process, Rioja Vega Limited Edition is aged for 14 months in the barrel. Lastly, before marketing, this red wine is left to stand for a further 8 months in the bottle to finish refining.

2015 Rioja Vega Limited Edition 2015 is a silky red wine with structure and elegance. This vintage stands out for its balance on the palate and the perfect fusion in the nose between ripe red fruit and the toasted notes of ageing.
2012 Juicy and embracing, agile and flavoursome. Ripened red fruit and fine mineral notes. Well integrated tannins. Long and warming finish.

Intense ruby, full-bodied. Dark and deep.

Ripe black fruit aromas with spicy and roasted notes. A balsamic base.
2011 Good entry, silky and enveloping. Light and tasty with mineral nuances. Well balanced acidity and well integrated tannins. Long aftertaste.

High layer, deep red ruby. Deep and bright.

Medium to high intensity, aromas of ripe black fruit, with spicy and balsamic roasted notes. Complex.
2010 Tasty and well balanced with jammy notes, very good tannin structure, long aftertaste and velvety, warming sensations at the end.

Attractive ruby red colour, high robe, bright, with purple reflections.

Toasted aromas with balsamic notes on a background of black fruits and liqueur.
