Rioja Vega Reserva 2019 is a wine that immediately captivates with its deep cherry-red hue. Bringing it to the nose, it envelops you with complex notes of forest fruits, such as blackberries and cherries, combined with a subtle hint of vanilla and sweet spices, thanks to its well-judged ageing. About Rioja Vega Reserva

Rioja Vega Reserva is a red wine from the appellation of origin (D.O) Rioja produced by the winery Rioja Vega, a centenarian winery from the town of Viana (La Rioja Baja).

Rioja Vega reserva is produced from the varieties Tempranillo (85%), Mazuelo (5%) and Graciano (10%). The grapes originate from 70 hectares of land with clay and chalky soils, an optimum drainage rate with a good water retention capacity.

For production, the wine is fermented at 28ºC for 10 days with an additional maceration process completed with the husks for a further 23 days.

After the vinification process of the Rioja Vega Reserva, the wine is aged for 24 months in American and French barrels, later left to rest for another 12 months in the bottle.
