About Sketch

Sketch is an exquisite white wine crafted from the Albariño grape variety. It is the brainchild of Raúl Pérez, the most prominent winemaker in contemporary Spanish viticulture. Raúl Pérez is renowned for creating sublime wines using the Mencía grape, elevating several of his creations to the pinnacle of recognition by esteemed wine critics.

Sketch is produced from the Albariño grape variety, sourced from ancient vines aged between 60 and 80 years, located in close proximity to the sea in the Meaño region. This proximity endows the wine with a distinctive saline character. Fermentation is conducted in large 750-litre barrels, with Raúl Pérez's customary approach of ensuring that the woodwork does not overshadow the terroir's unique identity. Sketch does not undergo malolactic fermentation and is aged in the same barrels for 12 months.

With a limited production of just 1500 bottles, this Albariño ranks among the most sought-after white wines in Spain. Therefore, haste is advised. You may not get another chance to savour it.

2018 Sketch 2018 is an aromatic white wine with delicious citrus fragrances, notes of white fruits and mineral touches. On the palate it is agile, fresh and light. A highly acidic wine with well-integrated salinity and a long and persistent finish.

The palate is fresh and smooth. There is lots of fruit on the palate, citrus memories and a special salinity. Long finish.
