About Suertes del Marqués 7 Fuentes

Suertes del Marqués 7 Fuentes is a D.O. Valle de la Orotava red wine produced by Suertes del Marqués.

This wine is a blend of Listán Negro and Tintilla originating from several plots with clay loam soil of a volcanic origin. They have different orientations and the altitude can vary from 350 to 700 meters above sea level. The age of the vines range from 8 to 100 years depending on the plot.  

Each plot is harvested separately and the fermentation of the grapes is also done separately in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. The fermentation process is short with maceration of the skins. The wine is aged for 8 months in concrete tanks (60%) and in Allier French Oak Barrels (40%).

Suertes del Marques 7 Fuentes 2018 is a juicy red wine with aromas of fresh red fruit like watermelon and redcurrant. It is very expressive with no reduction. On the palate it is very pleasant as well as being complex. A tasty, elegant and graceful wine with a lovely mineral finish.
