Corriente 2023 is a red wine that arrives without much fanfare, yet once in the glass, it makes its presence felt: raspberry and cherry join the party with a hint of spice, and on the palate, it appears fresh, straightforward, and playful, with the fruit swirling as if dancing alone. Telmo Rodríguez Corriente is a red wine from La Rioja prepared by Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodríguez. This wine is a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano.

After the harvest, the grapes are destemmed and undergo a process of cold maceration. Telmo Rodríguez Corriente is subsequently fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks.

Finally, Telmo Rodríguez Corriente is aged in barrels and foudres of varying ages before marketing. Telmo Rodríguez Corriente is what it is called an everyday La Rioja wine. The Telmo Rodriguez Wine Company intend people to use it daily.

Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodríguez stands for wanting to only use native varieties of original areas. Their goal is to recover forgotten vineyards and grow according to this philosophy.

Corriente 2022 boasts an intense cherry red hue, both clean and luminous. On the nose, it is characterised by its freshness, offering aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherries and raspberries, complemented by hints of dried herbs and a subtle touch of pepper. On the palate, it is light and fresh, with a concentrated profile that once again highlights the red fruits. Its finish is pleasant and has good persistence, making it a very approachable wine that is easy to enjoy.                      
2021

Corriente 2021 reveals a vibrant cherry-red hue, clear and luminous. On the nose, it unfolds aromas of ripe cherries and strawberries, intertwined with hints of dried herbs and a subtle peppery undertone. On the palate, this wine is light and refreshing, once again highlighting the red fruit, making its passage through the mouth fruity and highly enjoyable. It concludes with a persistent finish that entices further enjoyment.                      
2018

Corriente 2018 is a smooth red wine with intense aromas of ripe red fruit, slightly balsamic notes and hints of sweet spice. On the palate it’s dry, fruity and enveloping. A medium-bodied wine with refreshing acidity, fine tannins and a long finish with a touch of elegant bitterness.
2012 Notes of aging. Good acidity and freshness, fruit and spicy memories stand out. The end is bitter, dry and medium-haul.
