About Torremorón Crianza

Torremorón Crianza is a red wine from the Ribera del Duero region. It is produced by Bodegas Torremorón and is made using only Tempranillo (100%) grapes.

The grapes that are used to make Torremorón Crianza come from vineyards situated at 800 metres above seal level, on the northern bank of the river Duero, which benefit from the Cuesta Manvirgo which acts as a natural barrier.

After the harvest is carried out at the grapes are transported to the winery, they undergo alcoholic fermentation for 10 days in stainless steel tanks. After, in the same containers, malolactic fermentation takes pace.

Finally before being bottled, Torremorón Crianza ages for a minimum of 16 months in french and american oak barrels.

Bodegas Torremorón was founded back in 1957 as a cooperative that over time was joined by winegrowers from several towns in the area. In 1990, the wineries facilities were renovated and equipped with the best technology to ensure their success for future generations.
