About Trispol

Trispol 2013 is a red wine produced by the Mesquida Mora winery in VT Mallorca, a wine production area located on the eastern part of the island of Mallorca.

The Mora Mesquida winery is located in the town of Porrera and, since its founding in 2004, it has followed biodynamic grape growing methods. Native ground cover materials are used, the land is fertilized using compost and the use of chemicals that can disrupt the natural ripening of the grapes is omitted.

Trispol is made from Cabernet Franc, Syrah and the native variety Callet. With regards to the production process, cold maceration and fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, each variety undergoes this process separately.

After the fermentation process, Trispol is aged for 12 months in barrels of French and American oak. The term "Trispol" means a mixture of clay and lime formerly used to make pavements. Trispol 2013 is a blend that expresses this link with the natural earth.

2013 The entry is strong, full bodied, and very sweet. Well integrated tannins and good acidity. The aftertaste is persistent and long.

Cherry red medium-high layer, violet edges and a dense tear. Clean and bright.

A presence of ripe black fruit, roasted and toasted notes. Balsamic, smoky and sweet spices.
