About Tuets Tot Negre

We live in a wonderful, but fragile, world. Every action we take, every decision we make has an impact on the environment around us. It is crucial to understand that our relationship with the environment is not just a matter of convenience, but a responsibility that we must embrace in earnest. Awareness is not only about recognizing the fragility of our environment, but also about committing to concrete actions to protect it. Albert Domingo, an enthusiastic winegrower who has taken over the old family estate in Aiguamurcia, a tiny village in Alt Camp (Catalonia), integrates land, tradition, nature and people to produce surprising natural single-varietal wines. A holistic reflection that under the name Tuets, "you are" in Catalan, represents a declaration of intentions.

Based on a philosophy of zero intervention, this small winery presents Tuets Tot Negre, a red wine made with the varieties syran and ull de llebre from vineyards located in a privileged spot at an altitude of between 500 and 600 meters above sea level and whose soils are predominantly calcareous with sandy loam and clay loam plots. The vines are cultivated using organic agriculture and biodynamic treatments, and the harvest takes place by hand when the grapes reach optimum ripeness. In the winery, the grapes are partially macerated with their stems and gently pressed. Fermentation is spontaneous with naturally occurring yeasts, after which the wine is aged for 8 months on the lees, 85% in stainless steel tanks and the rest in old 300-liter barrels. Finally, the wine is bottled without filtering, clarification or the addition of sulfites.

Tuets Tot Negre reflects the craftsmanship in the vineyard and its distinctive character, the result of the effort to preserve our traditions and the natural balance of the land. Drinking this wine is more than an experience; it is a way to embrace our authenticity and appreciate the dedication found in every sip. It is an invitation to connect with the pure essence of the earth in every instant!
