About Viña Paceta

If Bodegas Bilbaínas is renowned for anything, it is the vast expanse of vineyards they own. Among these, some are iconic, such as Viña Paceta, where high-quality grapes are cultivated. From these grapes emerge wines as remarkable as Viña Paceta, a single-varietal red wine made from tempranillo that pays tribute to this natural wonder. After all, it couldn't be named otherwise. There are few words to describe the tempranillo that thrives on these vines, where one of the region's finest wines is produced. 
 
The crafting of Viña Paceta begins with the harvest and the arrival of the grapes at the winery. Following the destemming of the clusters, the grapes of Viña Paceta are crushed and left to macerate for fifteen days before fermentation. During this period, when the must is in contact with the skins, the wine begins to develop body, flavours, and aromas that will be further enhanced after fermentation. Finally, Viña Paceta will age for a year in American oak barrels, resulting in one of the most emblematic red wines currently available on the market.

Viña Paceta 2020 exhibits an alluring violet hue with red highlights, clear and luminous. Its bouquet is intense, featuring red fruits such as cherries and strawberries, complemented by hints of cocoa and vanilla due to its aging in American oak barrels. On the palate, this red wine is velvety and medium-bodied, easy to drink, with a flavour reminiscent of liquorice and a concentration that makes it unforgettable.                      
2015 Viña Paceta 2015 is a balanced, honest and pleasant red wine. A good vintage with aromas of ripe red fruit that stand out, toasted notes and light spicy touches. In the mouth, it is silky, round and long.
2012

It the mouth it is both persistent and balanced. Round and potent.



High layer. The colour is an intense cherry red with terracotta edges.

2011 Fresh, balanced, round and velvety on the palate. A persistent finish.
