About Viña Zorzal Chardonnay

Viña Zorzal Chardonnay is a white wine produced by Bodegas Zorzal in Corella, DO Navarra.

Bodegas Zorzal was established in 1989 with the aim of reviving indigenous grape varieties from the region and with the philosophy that wine originates from the vineyard.

Currently, they own 40 hectares situated near the municipality of Fitero, where the gentle terrain creates a small oasis amidst the vineyards in the lower Ebro valley, thus providing an additional touch of freshness. Of these, 25 hectares are planted with Garnacha, and the remainder with Graciano and Tempranillo, alongside white varieties such as Garnacha Blanca.

Viña Zorzal Chardonnay is crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from a vineyard located in Fitero. The harvest is conducted manually at night. Once at the winery, after a gentle pressing and natural cold clarification, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 14°C-15°C. Upon completion of fermentation, it is racked, filtered, and stabilised. Bottled in its youthful prime.
