About Vol d'Ànima de Raimat Rosé

Vol d'Ànima de Raimat Rosé is a rosé wine produced by the winery Raimat in Raimat (Lleida), within D.O. Costers del Segre.

Raimat is the second project of Codorniu Grup, owned by the Raventós family.

The building of the Raimat winery dates back to 1918. Joan Rubió i Bellver, who was a disciple of Antoni Gaudí, projected what was then the first building constructed with reinforced concrete in Spain. This building was given the name of the ‘cathedral of wine’.

At Raimat, they currently practice a sustainable viticulture, to achieve high-quality products, minimising the use of agrochemical products, reducing waste and optimising production methods through the full integration of the available resources.

Raimat stands out from the beginning in the field of oenological research. Over 30 wine research projects confirm this winery as a true reference at a European and global level.

Vol d'Ànima de Raimat Rosé is a rosé wine made with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from their own vineyards.

Once the grapes are harvested in their optimum ripening state, they are transported quickly to the winery to preserve all their qualities. When they arrive at the winery, the grapes are pressed, and only the free-run must is used for its vinification. The musts are decanted separately, and right before the fermentation, they carry out the coupage. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel deposits at a controlled temperature.

 

2022

Vol d'Ànima de Raimat Rosé 2022 is a rosé wine that offers refreshing citrus aromas, notes of red fruits (raspberries, strawberries) and fruits like peach on the nose. The palate has a pleasant acidity and an explosion of fruity nuances. A complex, elegant and delicate wine, with a delicious exotic nuance.
2021

Vol d'Ànima de Raimat Rosé 2021 is a refined, fruity, and aromatic wine. It presents a harmonious blend of fresh red fruit scents with citrus white fruit aromas on the nose. On the palate, it possesses body, is nimble and vibrant, culminating in an exceedingly sophisticated finish.
2019 Vol d'Ànima de Raimat Rosé 2019 is a delicate, fruity and fragrant wine. On the nose, the fusion of the aromas of fresh red fruit and the aromas of citrus white fruit stand out. In the mouth, it has volume, it is easy to drink and fresh, with a very elegant finish.
