In the Ribera del Duero DO, there are numerous wineries, yet only a select few compete in the top tier. Áster is among them. So much so that Tim Atkin ranked it among the 15 best wineries in this denomination.

The secret? An estate vineyard in Anguix, tempranillo cultivated at over 800 metres altitude, considerable patience, and an extensive collection of barrels that impart the final touch during ageing.

Áster embodies pure Ribera character, yet it also represents balance, elegance, and depth. Wines that illustrate why this winery competes in a different league.
