Zuccardi Valle de Uco (Mendoza, Argentina) is a winery that has made geography and sensitivity its hallmark. Guided by the vision of Sebastián Zuccardi, it has transformed the exploration of Mendoza's soils into an art form, ever convinced that wine not only expresses a place but also those who cultivate it. Each bottle embodies dedication, respect for the environment, and an unwavering quest to reflect the purest identity of every corner of the mountain range.
 
Zuccardi Fósil is a mountain white wine, crafted from Chardonnay grapes sourced from Paraje Estancia in San Pablo, at an altitude of 1,400 metres and just 600 metres from the foothills of the Andes. Cultivated under extreme conditions, with alluvial soils covered in limestone and a cold climate caressed by Andean breezes, this wine ferments with native yeasts in concrete vessels, without undergoing malolactic fermentation, and is aged in a balance between concrete and used 500-litre unroasted French oak barrels. The result is a precise, mineral, and vibrant white wine, which clearly speaks of the place that gave it life.
 
Savouring Zuccardi Fósil is akin to listening to a story written in stone: silent yet eloquent. Its purity and tension make it the perfect companion for delicate dishes such as oysters, ceviches, white fish, or soft cheeses.
