About Celler Kripta Bayanus Reserva

Celler Kripta Bayanus Reserva is a sparkling Brut Reserva crafted by Celler Kripta-Agustí Torelló Mata using the grape varieties macabeo, xarel·lo, and parellada under the collective brand Corpinnat (Catalonia). 
 
A pioneer in sparkling wine production in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, since 1959 the family-run business Agustí Torelló Mata has successfully curated a collection of quality wines that express the Penedès personality. Mediterranean-style sparkling wines of high quality that have achieved a prominent position in the international wine sector. 
 
Celler Kripta Bayanus Reserva is crafted with the three traditional indigenous varieties of cava: macabeo, xarel·lo, and parellada. Organic farming is practiced with strict control throughout the year, limiting yields. Selection and harvesting are done manually in the vineyard.
 
In the winery, the grapes of Celler Kripta Bayanus Reserva are vinified separately before undergoing a classic blend. Finally, the second fermentation takes place in the bottle with an ageing period of 24 months before disgorgement. 
 
Celler Kripta Bayanus Reserva is a fresh, dry, and versatile sparkling wine. A classic-style wine whose 37.5 cl format makes it ideal for opening at any moment.

Upon tasting, it retains this fruit-forward freshness, augmented by a spirited effervescence that accentuates its defined and velvety profile. 2018 Agustí Torelló Mata 375 Brut Reserva 2018 is a fruity sparkling wine with aromas of white fruit, balsamic notes and a herbal base. On the palate it’s dry, fresh and agreeable. A creamy Cava with sweet notes and a slightly mineral finish.
