About Alba Martín

Alba Martín is a white wine from the D.O. Rías Baixas produced by the winery Martín Códax. This is a single-varietal wine made from Albariño, typical of the region.

The grapes for Alba Martín thrive in vineyards very close to the sea, which benefit from the climatic and biological characteristics of the denomination. Once brought to the winery, the Alba Martín grapes undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks with constant temperature control. This wine is bottled without any ageing process.

The result is a fresh, youthful, and flavourful wine that embodies all the virtues of the D.O. Rías Baixas.

2022 Alba Martín 2022 is a white wine that offers citrus aromas on the nose accompanied by fruity and floral notes and subtle lactic and saline nuances. Smooth and fresh on the palate. A very fruity, complex and persistent white wine.
2017 Alba Martín 2017 is a fresh, fruity, and aromatic white wine. In this vintage the aromas of white stone fruit stand out, with marked citric notes. On the palate it is lively and direct, with quite a lingering finish.
2014 On the palate it is fresh with good acidity. Persistent and citric undertones.

Attractive crystalline lemon yellow.

High intensity, predominance of fruity and floral notes on a light mineral base.
2011 In the palate, it is fresh, smooth and fleshy, very lively, and shows a powerful citric acidity that provides it with depth. Good persistence and fruity aftertaste.

Clean and bright straw yellow colour.

Very clean nasal aromas with a high intensity in which the fragrant citrus (grapefruit and tangerine) are highlighted on a nice background of white flowers. Its deep minerality adds complexity to the whole.
