About Celler Credo And The Winner Is...

“Winning doesn't mean always being first. Winning means you try to do better than before.
 
This is the premise behind And the Winner is..., an organic white wine that is more than just a coupage. This a handcrafted mosaic that is a tribute to four historical Penedès varieties: the Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Parellada white varieties and the Monastrell red variety, which are cultivated according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture and where minimal intervention becomes maximum care to produce the best interpretation of the landscape and the terroir.
 
To make this wine, the grapes ferment with native yeasts and low doses of sulphur. The result? A fresh white wine, with texture and length that is perfect for enjoying during the summer season especially.
 
And the Winner is... is born under the mantle of experience of Celler Can Credo, the winery that produces still wines for Recaredo, an institution in the world of sparkling wine. At Can Credo they call themselves Xarel·lists because they understand, cultivate and interpret the Xarel·lo Catalan white variety like few others. Advocates of Bio (life) and dynamics (movement), they craft wines that are honest, that tell stories, and that candidly reflect character and landscape.
