About Arnaud Lambert Terres Rouges

Arnaud Lambert Terres Rouges is an organic red wine made with the Cabernet Franc red variety by Arnaud Lambert in the French denomination of AOC Saumur, in the Loire.
 
Arnaud Lambert, one of the most prestigious winegrowers in the Loire, inherited the small family estate with 15 hectares of vines in Saint Cyr en Bourg and 15 hectares in Brézé in 2005 and began to make wines from one of the best quality terroirs in the Saumur denomination. As a result, he creates pure, precise and elegant wines.
 
Arnaud Lambert Terres Rouges comes from 45 year old vines planted on clay and limestone soils. He has been working with certified organic agriculture since 2012 and has been using biodynamic treatments since 2018. The vine yield is limited to 45 hl/ha and the harvest is carried out manually at the optimum point of ripeness. 
 
In the winery, the Arnaud Lambert Terres Rouges grapes are destemmed and lightly crushed. Fermentation is spontaneous with native yeasts and the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks.
 
Arnaud Lambert Terres Rouges is a wine that faithfully reflects the character of the Loire. An authentic wine full of fruit, freshness and precision. 
 
2020

Arnaud Lambert Terres Rouges 2020 is a supple red wine. Olfactorily, it is forthright and expansive, exuding aromas of dark fruits (blackberries, blueberries), white pepper, menthol, and currant. On the palate, it is exacting and harmonious, with a tannic and vivacious profile, velvety texture, and a cornucopia of succulent fruit notes. The finish is flavorful and articulate.
2019 Arnaud Lambert Terres Rouges 2019 is a smooth red wine with intense aromas of red and black fruits. On the palate it is fresh, meaty and fruity. A precise wine with balanced acidity, delicate tannins and a long, persistent finish.
