About AT Roca Pedregar

The Corpinnat family has welcomed a new member, and not just any: AT Roca joins the collective brand with its distinctive character, energy, and sincere approach to understanding the Penedès. Among the wines that best embody this philosophy is AT Roca Pedregar, a sparkling rosé that reminds us why Garnacha can also speak with finesse.

AT Roca is the venture where Agustí Torelló Sibill and his sons, Agustí and Jordi, are committed to doing things their own way: organic viticulture, indigenous varieties, and an oenological sensibility that seeks more landscape than artifice. No disguises: what’s in the glass is the Penedès in its purest form.

Pedregar is a Garnacha born from a 3.2-hectare vineyard planted in 1982, on calcareous marl at an altitude of 220 metres. These are vines with history, harvested by hand and tended without haste. Afterwards, the wine follows the traditional method: 10 months in French oak barrels, plus 60 months of ageing in the bottle, and disgorged without dosage.

The result?
A pale-hued sparkling rosé with an elegant demeanor, fresh, subtle, and with that touch of identity that AT Roca seeks to champion with its entry into Corpinnat. The Garnacha of the Penedès can be refined, it can be serious... and it can be immensely enjoyable.

 
2016 AT Roca Pedregar 2016 is a sparkling wine with aromas of stone fruit, citrus notes and hints of pastry. On the palate it is fresh, broad and balanced. A wine with a fine and integrated bubble, a marked acidity and a long and mineral finish.
