About Atrium Chardonnay

Atrium Chardonnay is a white wine from Penedès produced by the Torres winery.

This is a family winery which has spent more than a century producing wines. The winery is located in Vilafranca del Penedès (Barcelona).

With its name, Atrium Chardonnay evokes ancient Roman houses and banquets held in the "atrium", the inner courtyard, where music and the wine had a central role.

Atrium Chardonnay is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. 

For processing, an alcoholic fermentation of two weeks is performed at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C in stainless steel tanks. Once this process is complete, 30% of the wine is aged for five months in new oak barrels from Hungary and Nevers.

2017 Atrium Chardonnay 2017 is a profiled, intense and silky white wine. This vintage shows all its aromatic potential, ripe white fruit with light tropical notes on a very subtle toasted background. In the mouth, it has a powerful entrance, it is direct and very long.
2014 Nice and fresh entry. Tasty and fruity step. Well balanced acidity. Elegant finish with medium persistence.
