About Barahonda Barrica

Barahonda Barrica is a wine from D.O Yecha produced by Señorío de Barahonda. This wine is a blend of Monsatrell (75%) and Syrah (25%).

The grape used by Barahonda Barrica originates from a 500 hectare location in the northeast region of Murcia.
The soils are clay, sandy loam and limestone.

During the process of production, Barahonda Barrica is macerated for a long period of time at a constant 25ºC.

Barahonda Barrica is left to rest for 6 months in French oak. Before being sold, it spends half a year resting in the bottle.

This is now a fourth generation winery since the Candela family decided to establish it.

The winery started off as being a small local business Today it is known as a modern production site with its wines being known all across the globe.
