To say a wine "falls short" is akin to saying it doesn't deliver on its promises: neither in sweetness, nor in structure, nor in aroma, nor in mouthfeel. It may not necessarily be bad, but it is indeed lacking. And this is precisely what Tiziano and Matteo are determined to avoid.
With enthusiasm and vigour, the brothers have taken the helm of the family business with a singular aim: to craft wines that do not fall short. They have at their disposal 10 hectares of vineyard, surrounded by the protected landscapes of the Piacenziano Natural Geological Reserve, in the very heart of the Chiavenna Valley, in Emilia-Romagna. There, in the village of Chiavenna Rocchetta, in the Dametti area, lies the Camorali Pierluigi winery, their laboratory of dreams and liquid experiences.
Their white gem, Camorali Pierluigi Mozzafiato Frizzante, is a Pétillant Naturel, a natural sparkling wine whose aromas and bubbles arise spontaneously through bottle fermentation. The malvasia grapes are harvested exclusively by hand at their optimal point of ripeness and, once picked, are swiftly transported to the winery, where they are carefully selected and gently pressed.
Fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, after which the wine undergoes its secondary fermentation in the bottle, creating those natural bubbles that are its hallmark. It remains on its fine lees for several months, absorbing texture and complexity before its final bottling.
Tiziano and Matteo do not wish to produce "just another wine." Camorali Pierluigi Mozzafiato Frizzante is a pét-nat that meets all expectations. A vibrant, fresh, and mineral wine that speaks of its land, its family history, and their passion for the impeccable.
