About Colet Assemblage Brut Nature

Colet Assemblage Brut Nature is a sparkling wine from the DO Penedès region, crafted by the winery Colet Vins in Pacs del Penedès, located 40 km from Barcelona.

The Colet family has been tending to their vineyards in the heart of Penedès for over two centuries, but it wasn't until the early 1990s that the Colet Vins brand was established.

Josep and Sergi Colet, who lead the family business, have aimed from the outset to produce their wines using traditional methods while simultaneously embracing the most modern and sustainable cultivation and vinification techniques.

Notably, they were among the first wineries to depart from the DO Cava and seek the protection of DO Penedès, now known as Clàssic Penedès. As a result, their sparkling wines are organic, aged for a minimum of 15 months in the bottle, and the disgorgement date is indicated on the label.

Colet Assemblage Brut Nature is a sparkling wine produced using the traditional method with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from their own vineyards. It is crafted through a white vinification of both grape varieties, typically combined once they arrive from the vineyard. The contact of the black skin of the Pinot Noir with its white pulp at the precise moment of pressing imparts the wine with its characteristic slightly pink hue. The wine undergoes a minimum of 30 months of aging on the lees.

Colet Assemblage Brut Nature is an elegant and subtle cava, likely the wine with which many associate Colet wines, due to its quality and uniqueness within its southern region and its presence in numerous prestigious establishments.

In the mouth, soft, with good weight, creamy, with moderate acidity and certainly a long-acceptable end.

Slightly rosé.

Intense aromas, full of nuances toasted on white background of very ripe fruit, fresh and persistent.
