Cruor 2021 is a full-bodied and assertive red wine, which unveils on the nose a profound aroma of ripe blackberries, black plums, and hints of dried herbs that conjure images of earthy strolls. About Cruor

Cruor is a red wine from the D.O Priorat produced by Casa Gran del Siurana, a winery belonging to Grupo Perelada.

This winery is located in Bellemunt del Priorat (Tarragona), in a famous farmhouse like the 'Casa Gran'. For 3 centuries lived the Carthusian monks in the Scala Dei monastery, the monastic order that introduced winemaking to the Priorat.

Cruor is a blend of Garnacha Negra (40%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%), Syrah (20%) y Cariñena (10%). The grapes originates from different estates, la Casa Gran and La Fredat.

Regarding production, after a traditional winemaking process in stainless steel containers, Cruor is aged for 12 months in 225 litre French oak barrels, 50% are new and the rest in second year.

Cruor 2020 is a slightly mature, full-bodied red wine distinguished by its juicy character. On the nose, it presents aromas of black fruits such as blackberries and plums, accompanied by subtle hints of vanilla and spices, a result of its barrel aging. On the palate, it is expansive and well-structured, with smooth tannins that provide an enveloping sensation and a long, pleasurable finish. Its balance between fruit and oak makes it an appealing choice for those seeking a wine with personality.
2019 Cruor 2019 is a red wine with an intense nose dominated by mature notes that harmonise with its aromas of black fruits, Mediterranean herbs, balsamic and spicy nuances. Powerful on the palate, but with very well-refined tannins. A red wine with all the character of Priorat. Silky, complex and balanced.
2011 Wide and flavoursome. Unctuous and fresh with good presence of ripened red fruits. Appearance of mineral undertones. Mature tannins. Very long and persistent.

Intense cherry red with garnet reflections.

Aromas of red fruit with roasted and balsamic notes, combined with some smooth milky touches.
2010 Fresh, concentrated and elegant in the mouth. Ripe tannins noticed. On the palate this wine is enwrapping and round, with a long, deep aftertaste.

A balsamic aroma, with fine, delicate notes from its ageing in the barrel, spices and milky nuances.
2008 Smooth attack. Tasty, silky, round and smooth on the palate with something warm. Very fruity, something liquorice, with intense toasted notes. Good structure and well-balanced, with body. Good acidity bringing freshness. Smooth, ripe tannins. Long finish with an elegant persistence leaving mineral notes and a pleasant fruity aftertaste. A fine, elegant wine.

Intense deep cherry colour with a maroon edge. Bright, medium-high robe with elegant, fine tears on the glass.

Very expressive nose with intense aromas of ripe red and black fruit complimented by spices, subtle hints of Mediterranean woods and some surprising dried fruit. Toasted aromas take a back seat at first but gradually grow. Nice mineral background.

2006 In the mouth, this is a round wine, with a smooth and tasty mid palate. Fresh acidity and fine tannins. Very balanced wine with a long and lingering finish and an aftertaste of strawberries and red fruits.

Deep cherry colour. Brilliant.

Intense aromas with a generous load of red berries and black fruits with notes provided by the ageing (roasted, smoked and cocoa) and nuts. Mineral touches typical of the wine of this area.
2005 It is modern, complex, and mineral, with a lingering and well-integrated acidity, which gives it freshness. The smooth, drawn-out tannins increase the good palate. It is a remarkable wine, principally for its refinement and elegance.

Very deep cherry coloured wine with a garnet red edge.

It is very expressive on the nose, reminiscent of ripe red fruit with traces of Mediterranean forest herbs. It has a noticeable hint of aging, but this is not predominant.
