De Moor Chablis 1er Cru Vau de Vey is a natural white wine made with the Chardonnay variety by Domaine Alice et Olivier De Moor in the AOC Chablis Premier Cru, in Burgundy (France).

The Domaine Alice et Olivier De Moor winery is located in Courgis, Burgundy and is run by a young couple who convey their passion and vitality in each of their wines. Both have a degree in oenology and have a passion for working in the most respectful and natural way possible in both the vineyard and the winery. This results in wines that are full of purity and vitality.

De Moor Chablis 1er Cru Vau de Vey comes from Chardonnay vines planted on marl-rich soils. These vines have been cultivated organically with certification since 2005 and biodynamic treatments are also used to guarantee the natural balance of the terroir in harmony with the micro-system.

The De Moor Chablis 1er Cru Vau de Vey grapes are manually harvested in small boxes and then undergo a classic pressing and spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. The wine then ages in used French oak barrels for 18 months.

De Moor Chablis 1er Cru Vau de Vey is an immensely pure wine made without any chemical products or additives. A 1er Cru that has become a benchmark in Chablis.

2018

De Moor Chablis 1er Cru Vau de Vey 2018 is a white wine with aromas of white fruit, acacia flowers and chalky hints. On the palate it is fresh, crisp and mineral. A wine with brilliant acidity, a very fruity mid-palate and a very persistent aftertaste.
