About Denavolo Dinavolo

Denavolo Dinavolo is a natural white wine made with Malvasia di Candia, Marsanne, Ortrugo and a forgotten variety. It is produced by the Denavolo winery in Emilia-Romagna.

Denavolo is a small winery in Emilia-Romagna that has adopted the name of the mountain that presides over it. It was founded in 2005 by Giulio Armani. In the field, even if it is not certified, only sulphur and copper are used, while working with the utmost respect for the environment. It produces white wines with techniques usually used for reds, macerating with skins. They are wines with an old flavour that are traditional, full-bodied and intense.

Denavolo Dinavolo is a white wine that is made like most reds. First of all, when the harvest arrives in the winery, it is destemmed, crushed and vatted. It then ferments by macerating with the skins with native yeasts. The maceration lasts up to 4 or 7 months. Once vinified, the wine is aged on lees for 8 months in stainless steel tanks. It is bottled without filtering or clarifying. No sulphites are added at any time during the process.

Denavolo Dinavolo is a natural white wine marinated with skins that is fresh and tasty with light tannins, designed so that it can age perfectly in the bottle.

2016 Denavolo Dinavolo 2016 is a wine with aromas of honey, caramel and citrus, and touches of mountain flowers. It also has fruity and mineral aromas accompanied by a certain salty base note. On the palate it is complex and rich, with a huge structure.
