About Dievole Chianti Classico

A rural resort is a tourist destination located in areas far from the city, offering services and amenities in a special approach with connection to nature and outdoor activities. Dievole, just 12 km from Siena, is a wine resort overlooking the enchanting Chianti Classico area. One of the most beautiful corners of Tuscany that offers a dream stay. It is here, in a context rich in nature, history and tradition, that quality wines have been produced for almost 1,000 years. These productions reflect a unique territory and, combining technique with instinct, sangiovese, the region's star variety, is shown in its purest essence.

This is demonstrated in Dievole Chianti Classico, a coupage of sangiovese, canaiolo and colorino that come from 18-year-old vines planted on soils partly sandstone and partly silt-clay with limestone and marl at an altitude of 300–420 metres above sea level. The team uses organic farming methods and the grapes are harvested by hand at the optimum moment of ripening. In the cellar, fermentation is carried out for 14–15 days in concrete tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine is then aged for 13 months in French oak barrels. Finally, it is bottled and allowed to rest for 3 months before going to market.

The result is Dievole Chianti Classico, the winery's flagship wine that is a true ambassador of the most authentic Tuscany. A delicious way to enjoy sangiovese in its purest essence.

Dievole Chianti Classico 2022 is distinguished by its lush floral expression, with prominent notes of violets accompanied by ripe red fruits. On the palate, the minerality is seamlessly integrated and harmonised with mature tannins, while cherry aromas resonate on the palate. This full-bodied wine offers a pleasant and lingering finish, making it an exceedingly approachable and enjoyable choice.

Dievole Chianti Classico 2020 is a full-bodied red wine with aromas of ripe red fruits, violet notes and mineral hints. On the palate it is voluminous, mature and well-balanced. A wine with present acidity, refined tannins and a pleasant and persistent finish.
