About Domaine Bobinet Piak! Blanc

When Émeline left her career as a professional dancer, she decided to train as a sommelier. A passion that grew with Sébastien and culminated when he inherited 2 hectares of old vines from his grandfather on the outskirts of Saumur, in the Loire Valley, and they decided to create their own wines under the brand name Domaine Bobinet. With their former mentor Olivier Cousin, a natural vigneron from the Loire, as their main reference, they make wines with minimal intervention where health, enjoyment and sustainability are their maxims.

In the field, Sebastian manages the viticulture side of the business. A 100% organic work where old Cabernet franc vines are cultivated to produce Domaine Bobinet Piak! Blanc. This is a blanc de noir which comes naturally from a blend of the most basic grapes of the domaine. In the winery, Emeline is primarily responsible for winemaking. The grapes go through a direct press and after a short carbonic maceration, the wine remains for 3 months in vats with its lees.

A white wine made from red grapes, Domaine Bobinet Piak! Blanc is a surprising and delicious blanc de noir. A thirst quencher for when the mouth is too dry and the onomatopoeia "Piak!" sounds.

2021

Domaine Bobinet Piak! Blanc 2021 is an aromatic white wine with aromas of bright red fruits, lemony notes and saline hints. On the palate it’s fresh, juicy and round. A super fun blanc de noir with a refreshing high acidity which is very easy to drink.
